School and Program Policies

Many sites have requested support in developing custom policies for take-home devices, bring-your-own-device programs, social media, and other technology activities.  While IUSD has not adopted official forms and policies in this area, the Educational Technology Team has assembled some sample documents from other districts and IUSD schools.  You may access those samples through our EdTech Resources site.

Additional Resources

ON[the]LINE is a collaborative effort between the California School Boards Association (CSBA), Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), California Educational Technology Professionals Association (CETPA), Common Sense Media and a number of other partners to develop and share best practices related to student and staff use of technology in schools.  The site features recent news, sample policies, upcoming events, and instructional resources.
