Technology Advisory Committee

The TAC is the Technology Advisory Coach at a school site for Elementary and Middle School. Each high school has Instructional Technology Mentor who acts as a TAC, but is able to offer more on-demand training during dedicated prep periods for technology integration and peer support. The stipended Site TAC Coach and the Instructional Technology Mentor is a teacher and the primary point of contact at each school for instructional technology integration, advocacy, professional development, planning, and coordination at each school site. He/she is responsible for ensuring the effective use of technology at the school site through collaboration and training. Their role is not to troubleshoot hardware, but help facilitate teachers with the integration of technology into their lessons so that the learning can be redefined.
