Telephone Liaison

The telephone liaison team is comprised of site and department representatives who assist in the management of telephone and voicemail accounts.

Information Services is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the IUSD voice communication network. This includes Voice over IP (VoIP) telephones, voicemail, and legacy analog telephone lines. IS also serves as IUSD liaison with Mitel Networks, our telephone hardware and software provider.

Telephone Liaison are responsible for the following...

  • Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) to telephones for continuity of service for end users who have a change in status or location
  • Troubleshoot problems with hardware and/or software by the end user
  • Manage available IUSD phone numbers to maintain continuity and availabilty of service within the IUSD numbering scheme.
