LAN Project (School Infrastructure Upgrades)Most IUSD school sites cope with outdated and insufficient technology infrastructure. Aging cabling and equipment hinder schools’ ability to use technology to enhance instruction and create innovative learning opportunities for IUSD students. In 2015, IUSD committed $14 Million to upgrade the technology infrastructure at all school sites and administrative offices. The scope of the upgrades includes replacing and augmenting network cabling, network equipment and wireless access points. These changes will be coupled with central improvements to allow students and families a more seamless experience when connecting with or at IUSD sites.
